Donation Drop-Off Appointment

Service Description

Appointments are available from 12-5 pm on Wed-Fri, and 10-4 Sat. Unsure about what to donate? Refer to our updated Donation Guide! Please pack your donation into a container that you are ready to part with. Please note: We cannot accept donations of more than three medium (up to 20"x20") boxes at a time. We can take larger boxes of yarn and fabric only. We cannot take extra boxes of these items, but sometimes need more in the store. Please call us at (217) 352-7878 if you have extra that you would like to donate. We cannot empty donations into other containers. If possible, place your donation in the trunk of your car. Please drive around to the back of the building. We will not be accepting donations inside the mall. A staff member will meet you there. DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR CAR. Just pop your trunk, and we will take your donation for you. If you drive an open car (like an SUV or hatchback) or have your donation in the back seat, please wear a mask while we are taking your donation. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it by emailing donations@the-idea-store.org or calling us at (217) 352-7878 so that someone else may take your slot. If you have a large donation (more than 8 boxes), please call us to arrange an appointment. Thank you!
